Diese Sorgfalt ist so kühl, dass sie Sie Amerikaner wie dumme Amerikaner aussehen lässt
I tend to agree that when it comes to super cars America just doesn't cut it. The best we can come up with is the Ford GT40 and the Chevy Corvet. The problem I think is corporate America making it impossible for true genius to be set free and work its magic. Back in the day people had passion for what they did and Money was only a means to keep doing what they loved doing. Today people do things to make money. There is little passion and it shows. Cadillac is really the only car that comes to mind when the term American Luxury cars comes into mind. Even those are cheaply made when compared to the plethora of European, German, even Japanese luxury cars. The formula American companies use is make it as big and as cheaply as possible. The bugatti veyron hand levers to operate the windshield whippers cost 4,000 bucks alone. If we paid attention to this much detail imagine what we could accomplish. Corporate Wigs would have undoubtedly just used cheap plastic levers thinking what does it matter. We Americans only look at the big picture we need to pay better attention to the pieces that make up that big picture. American car makers think that they can take a huge engine put it on 4 wheels and call it a day. Our cars are great for going on straights but suck around the corners. Any track driver can tell you that the real race is won on the corners. Only in NAScar dose this not apply since all they do is go around in a big oval.
